“The First Baptist Church Care Center exists in this community to love and minister through feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, and reaching and teaching ‘the least of these’."
The Care Center is part of the DNA of First Baptist Jonesboro. Since 1974, this ministry has been active in meeting the needs of our community.
Here are some ways you can help:
Volunteer – We are open 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday. You can help serve sandwiches, work in the clothing room, or help prepare food orders.
Donate -- Donations of clothing, food, household items, linens, dishes, and small appliances are welcomed.
We ask that the clothing be seasonal because of storage space restrictions. Clothes need to be clean and in good repair. All types of foods are accepted. Do you have a garden? Share your bounty with the Care Center!
Donations may be dropped off at the back of the Care Center (located west of the church on Union Avenue) or in the designated space in the Atrium.
Financial support is also appreciated. Consider making a donation in memory or in honor of a loved one, or simply give as you feel led. Checks should be made payable to First Baptist Church and designated for the Care Center in the memo.
To donate online, click here, choose First Baptist Jonesboro, and then enter the amount you'd like to give in the area designated for the Care Center.
