Dear Next Gen Volunteer,
Thank you for the many ways you love, teach, and care for our children and youth.
You are such a big part of the ministry here at First Baptist and I am thankful for your faithfulness.
Over the last year and a half FBC has undergone a process of updating the Safety Policies and Procedures Manual. Many hours of research, thought, and prayer have gone into the policy and the time has come for implementation. Our policies are intended to create a safe environment for our children, protecting them, you, and the mission of FBC Jonesboro. The attached policy has been adopted and will begin to be enforced at the end of August.
Below you will find steps that all current staff and volunteers are asked to complete prior to August 31, 2026. Please make note of Step #5 and make plans to attend one of the in-person training meetings. Childcare will be provided upon request for both training times and the Northeast Arkansas Children's Advocacy Center (NEACAC) can provide a certificate for CEUs, if that is helpful.
